INTRODUCTION TO ASHTANGA
For those who are new to Ashtanga and want to build the foundations to practice. We will move at a slower pace with more time for explanation. Focus is maintained using the breath; you will learn why we use ujayi breath and how to breath properly to feel the benefits of the practice. You will be guided through the primary series starting with Surya Namaskar (sun salutations), working through some of the standing postures and seated postures, finishing with backbends and closing postures with optional modifications.
